Becoming A Successful Experience-Personal Narrative

I’m sure everyone has learned a lesson or two in their lifetime there is doubt about it. There is one lesson that I recall quite well. This just so happens to be the first time I have been pulled over by an officer. Something that will never happen to me again. This is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me to this current date. I am not sure how anyone else would feel in this situation, but here goes my experience.
My friend Kayla and I decided that we wanted to adventure to Bridgeport and go shopping at the Meadowbrook Mall because we were burnt out on the Morgantown Mall. It was a normal, Spring day in March. We had one goal for the day and that was to have a successful shopping trip, not get pulled over. We didn’t have a care in the world all we wanted to do was have fun together

We get almost to the Jerry Dove Drive exit and I saw flashing lights. It was a West Virginia State Trooper. My first instinct was to pull over, so that’s what I did. Once I pull over I began to get out my license and registration for my car. The officer comes up and says “Do you know why I pulled you over”? Of course I said no because I honestly wasn’t sure. The officer preceded to tell me that I had been speeding. I didn’t even realize how fast I was going because all of the distractions around me. The car stereo was blaring with rap music and I just plainly wasn’t paying attention to my speed. I am a complete emotional mess because I had never been pulled over, so I was really upset about it. He went back to his cruiser to write up my citation. He came back and told me not to worry that I would not be getting any points on my license just a $167.00 fine. He then left and sent me on my way. I was horrified now. By then I really didn’t even want to go shopping anymore, I just wanted to go home. I called my aunt who calmed me down and told me to not worry about it and just go have
