At my fourth-grade parent-teacher conference, my teacher told my mother, “Nicole is a great student but I think the school work may be too easy for her, she seems to not pay attention in class.” Without a flinch, my mom’s easily replied: “Oh, that’s Nicole for you, she’s just a daydreamer.”Being continuously curious about everything my mind would wonder off from reality into the depths of questions on how could I make an idea or thing different, unique, and purposeful, or make something new. My daydreaming nature was always a characteristic that made me feel a little bit different from my peers and colleagues, but my family knew that I was just a creative and curious kid. In which, the boy genius has “Brain Blasts” where he would suddenly come up with solutions that would save the world. Shamelessly, “Brain Blasts” became my slogan. Whenever I had an idea in my never-ending daydreams, I would shout out “Brain Blast” and tell my siblings about an amazing master plan I had thought of. I am still teased by my siblings to this day, yet I remain the family 's resource whenever a solution or entrepreneurial idea is needed; I enjoyed solving problems and coming up with something original that hadn 't been thought of …show more content…
Currently, as a Project Manager at The Auster Agency in New York, I specialize in activating large corporate real estate entities and non-profit entities within their surrounding communities. Through integrated events in real-time and targeted marketing campaigns these companies are able to establish a good reputation with their customers, and better understand their surrounding community needs. Although Auster Agency offers ample of opportunities for growth, I would like to further nurture my marketing skills and knowledge that will prepare me to become a more well-edepted leader in the field.This includes the ability to understand and business transactions, business growth, and how to respond to broader business issues. The understanding of the "big picture" of marketing will give me the leg-up I need to establish my role as a marketing leader. Having the ability to deeply analyze and examine strategies in order to predict and encourage positive change and performance of a business, I will better be able to maximize returns for brands.
