My most positive high school experience for me has to be when I was inducted into National Honor Society for my senior year. This was something that I has been striving to do since my freshman year after I received my first academic letter. But after our school decided to only allow seniors to be inducted, raised the GPA requirement, and reduced the amount of people that would be allowed to be inducted I wasn’t sure if my goal would still be attainable. But after three years of strenuous classes, constant volunteer service, and keeping my grades up I finally received an acceptance letter and was inducted into NHS where I am able to surround myself with others that have the same academic goals as…

The National Honor Society is an organization that helps guide bright high school students into the right direction in which they have already shown by having an outstanding academic record, excellent attendance, etc. This organization enhances the unique and positive qualities that a person has while teaching them new ones such as responsibility, honesty, and respect. Throughout this year I faced hardships and had an extremely difficult time keeping everything I valued in place. I didn’t accomplish as much as I wish I did this year, but towards the middle/end, this sudden determination and passion started forming within me and my love for learning deepened.…

I think of all the people I met and how they impacted my life. I think of the fun times, but also the hardships I endured. Being in a bigger school, with some familiar faces, and sitting back and watching the drama rather than be part of the drama was the most life changing experience. Having time to myself and being around my family made me realize the type of person I truly wanted to be rather than the person I was. I did not want to be the stuck up girl that spent all the money my daddy made just because I could nor did I want to be the quiet shy girl who didn’t speak a word all year. Moving to Georgia gave me the opportunity to start fresh and represent myself in a whole new perspective. And so I did.…

Descriptive Essay Nearly everyone had a high school experience, and many people have some kind of college experience. People who experienced both of these know how overwhelming the transition from high school to college can be at first. Dual enrollment is a great example of attending public high school and a community college at the same time and yet finding it to be a confusing contrast. For two places that have a similar purpose, which is to educate, the experience one will have at both places is far more different than one would expect.…

My family history made me to do better than my family did, and to become a very strong willed fighter to be the best I can be in everything I do.…
