It all started in Maypearl TX, at church camp in 2012. I saw him from a distance, wondering in my head, “who could that good looking guy be?’’ Soon did I find out, his name was Zack Clark, and he was the guys new church youth assistant. We decided to have a nine month engagement, so we could get married on our 3 year dating anniversary, August 1st. The engagement was hectic. We planned and planned for weeks. Actually I planned for weeks while he just agreed to every option that I presented and made it even harder for me to decide. On top of that, we had to figure out where we were going live, and if we were going to buy a house or rent something. Wedding planning was a very stressful time. We finally made all the decisions though, and we started getting everything together and getting ready. The last week before was really crazy. We had so much work to do and so little time. We kept it cheap and just had chicken express cater and we took pictures and got to hang out with all of our friends and family. It was such an amazing feeling, knowing that I was now a part of him and his incredible family. He was the man of my dreams. God really knew what he was doing when he put us together. After all the shock and ahh of the situation and hanging out with everyone for what felt like hours, It had come to the point for me and my husband to drive off and be married. The only thing is, Zack had just started a new job 1 week before this day, which meant he didn 't have any vacation time and we were unable to go on a honey moon. Knowing this, we just called all of our friends from the wedding and told them to come to our new house and we would just have a party there. It sounded crazy at first, after growing up and dreaming of my honeymoon and how great it would be. I just never expected to have a house party instead. All of our friends showed up though. It was a long crazy night with loud music and tons of fun, but it turned out to be way better than expected. Yeah it wasn 't some exotic beach, but it was our home, and our friends, and our wedding night, and It was actually perfect.
