My Experience As A Writer Analysis

Writing, is that word that in my experiences as a current student is just not the word you’d like to hear throughout your school day, because it is the thought of having to write for an assignment or project that you would not like to do. But, for some, writing is a big joy to them and expressing their emotional thoughts no matter the task of which they are writing for. I feel that to be a good writer you must be able to put you in the writing and be able to express everything you’d like to express with whatever the amount of words you have at your disposal. Just like most people, I didn’t get into the notion of writing until around second or third grade when you had to write a page or a couple of paragraphs as bellwork. The thing about this bellwork is that it wasn’t say an assignment, but more so a way to express our current thoughts on just about whatever we wanted to write. The fact that the teachers gave me this freedom developed my creative thinking and imagination overtime to write what I think and how I thought it at the time. This is only the beginning of a developing creative mind that grew for me and is still a very important part of me today. …show more content…
It grew as I grew in my writing and helped me put more of me in the work. This kind of emotion also acts as a voice that my readers would be able to hear on their own or read my writing in my own voice. Being given the power to put all of this in your writing is important to grow as a writer and to help those reading understand your writing and more of you and what thoughts you were thinking and wanted to put into the writing. This was the best part for me, because I could express myself with no foul, but after elementary school there is a whole new way of what teachers start telling you about

Case History of Me as a Writer Each and every individual has an adaptable standpoint to where they see themselves placed as to how prepared or how comfortable they are with college level reading and writing. It’s quite difficult to determine exactly the specific expectations but, there is a general perception as to what should be expected. Reflecting on my background and experiences of reading and writing defines my level of preparedness and comfort for college. By self-assessing my readiness for the course, I am able to recognize my strengths and weaknesses as a reader and a writer. Without recognition of the Framework document, I already have a general idea of some obvious skills I excel at and that I need improvement with.…

I started writing about six years ago, but I never seriously thought of becoming a writer until last year. When I was younger, it was always more of a hobby, something I did that other people said I was good at, and I was like, “Okay, I’ll keep doing this.” I liked doing it but I always thought just liking it wasn’t enough, but now that I’m older I’m starting to realize the act of writing isn’t the most important part for me, it’s the storytelling that has tethered me to this profession. The stories are what I love and what I’m passionate about.…

My experience with write experience was really enlightening as the program gives your three attempts and after every attempt handed in you get feed back instantly about how to make the writing piece better from grammar to punctuation to grammar and word choice. I did realize that after every attempt my submission did get much better and my writing did improve, the program also has its own word check which in fact is better then Microsoft office and does pick up mistakes that office cannot. This programs was very beneficial to me as I struggle with most is writing and this program truly showed me how I would be able to excel writing and how simple work choice here and there and time grammatically changes can make a writing piece amazing. Writing can be seen as many things and in many ways, but I like to look at writing as it follows; writing is like trying to go home during rush hour on the free way. You start off, and you want to go fast, but you encounter slow traffic, dead traffic, and even some one-off time, fluid traffic. Once you are off the freeway, you encounter the casual red light and might even need to do U-turns along the way. However, we all know that no matter how long it takes, you arrive home sometime not too long away. While I don 't want this essay to turn into an autobiography, I think it is important to say that English is nowhere near my first language.…

The story of Marissa, the writer is one that hardly gets told. In fact, it is a story that is usually disregarded and neglected all together. The primary reason for disregarding the story of Marissa the writer is because, at a foundational level, I do not consider myself to be a writer.…

People on the outside think that there is something magical about writing. They think that you can go up into the big beautiful sky, pull out a story and come down with it, but it is not that simple. You sit at the back of a computer and work, and that’s all there is to it. Writing used to be one of my greatest fears when having to write an essay for a class. I could never start my papers on time.…

Writing novel has been my hobby since I was in ninth grade. I would spend both day and night plotting and creating stories. By seeing my enthusiasm for writing, a teacher recommended me to write for my high school magazine. This opportunity brought me to another level; I discovered myself as someone who loves to leave a short message or advice for my article readers. Moreover, I was also taught how to write different types of essays in my own language, as a Cambodian who uses English as her second language.…

I’ve always loved to write. I write to express the thoughts and feelings I don’t like to share aloud. I write as a release, to free myself from the confines of my mind and to get everything I’m holding in so tightly out of my head. As a freshman, I skipped English 1201 and entered 1202 with no formal college writing instruction. I was confident in my abilities to write and excel in the course, as my passion for writing made English my best subject since elementary school.…
