My Experience As A Confirmation Leader

Improved Essays
Throughout my various leadership experiences, I would have to say that being a confirmation leader is the most influential. As a confirmation leader at Saint John the Baptist Parish, I am expected to help the candidates grow in their faith. My most significant leadership experience would be when I was in the Girls Varsity Tennis Team. I had been in the tennis team during my highschool years, for 2 years. During that time I learned a lot about being a leader, such as what it means to lead others, and what qualities a leader should have. When I first started playing tennis I started at the position on 2nd doubles, to me I took it as that I was not good enough to play against an opponent by myself on the court. Which was entirely true, because when I began playing I was not any good whatsoever.…

The expression proof based is a popular expression in contemporary open arrangement, with all the danger of triteness and triviality that trendy expression status passes on. How about we not be deluded by its present prominence. Confirmation based practice has huge substance and order behind it. We can watch its effect in two fields exceptionally affected by administrative choices: policing and optional instruction. In proof based policing, group cops are prepared to treat criminal suspects affably, on the grounds that doing as such has been found to decrease rehash offenses.…

True and significant life is found in Jesus Christ and because of my firm conviction of this it has been my primary objective to point people to Jesus. Being persuaded that Christ wants Christians and especially those who take leadership roles to minister to the needs of others, I have ordered my life to conform to that conviction. Ultimately, Jesus desires that each Christian serves him by serving others; this is accomplished in a variety of ways – feeding those who are hungry, teaching everyone the life saving Gospel, and by leading in a way that reflects the glory of Christ. It has been my immense pleasure to have had the opportunity to preach God’s Word to thousands of people over the past fifteen years. It is my sincere passion to see people embrace Christ Jesus as their Lord and savior and to be transformed by the renewing of their minds through the Word of God.…

I have had my share of successes and failures in both a leadership and followership capacity. From a young man I always seemed to have a knack for taking control of something that was broken and turning it into something successful. After working and flying on helicopters throughout my later teens and younger twenties I was sick of aviation.…

Compare & Contrast Leadership Styles In our text, Leadership is defined as “An area of study marked by the examination of the behaviors of others” (p.378). After reading about the three styles of leadership which are transformational, transactional, and servant leadership, I instantly thought about a scripture which says “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock” (1 Peter 5:2-3, New International Version). Before I start uncovering the similarities between theses three leadership styles, I’m going begin by defining…
