Eight years ago, when I came to the United States first time, that was a big challenge for me. First of all, I could not speak any English at all. It was really hard for me to listen and understand the English language. After a few months,when I enrolled in high school, I had same problems. I had very few friends because I did not know how to talk to them. Whenever someone said something to me, I could not understand what they were saying because of my bad English. I just answered yes or no even though I did not know what the questions were. In high school, I often had bad grades, and I failed two classes due to not understanding English language. Then over years passed and I started to speak English gradually. My grades started to improve.
