By that time, I couldn’t speak English at all for example, I couldn’t say one simple complete sentence. I was looking for a job with my bad English. I asked my cousin to help me to look for a job. One day he came to me, and he told me that he talked with his old manager in McDonald’s. He told me to go to see the manager, and the manager had an interview with me. The manager accepted me, and I started working at McDonald’s. Working at McDonalds was such a good experience but, not great because people who were working with me at McDonalds speak Spanish not English. I learned how to communicate with others without talking. Three months later I moved to Virginia, and I applied for McCormick’s& schmicks, it is a sea food restaurant. I faced a lot of challenges in learning English. It wasn’t easy to learn English. It took me a lot of effort, and time. My life became a better life financially, and mentally. First, I am able to speak English with other people. When I watch any American movie, I can understand it. I am able to find better jobs because I speak the spoken language for example, I started working at McDonalds, and I end up working in Westwood Country Club. These days I am able to make new friends easily without any obstacles because I am able to understand them. Also, I am able to express my emotions and feelings better because I learned new fancy words. The biggest result is I am able to continue my education, and continue in my major. Also, learning English got me to have bigger goals for example, I am looking to finish a couple of certifications in cybersecurity this year. In conclusion, learning English helped me to have a better
