Someone behavior when there are kids May help them to decide what career they wish to do once they grow up and some decide to become a teacher. More than one hundred teachers had taught me during my life. They all have been different. However, there is a weird case where two teachers share some surprising similarities. Even thought most people could assume that and earth science teacher and a history teacher have nothing in common considering that they are teaching two complete

Both my earth science teacher and my history teacher have a particular way teach, a way that no every teacher is using. They both tried to focus on the smart ones or in those who are actually trying to learn in the class to make those who didn’t care about the class fight for their grade. Considering they were both pretty tough grader, they didn’t give a chance to those who were paying attention. Although they were both exceptional with their students, I remember that both always bring treats on Fridays, so if a student answer a question right in class, the student would it get a full donut and they answer wrong they would get half a donut. In addition to this my earth science teacher always try to make his classroom to feel like a party on Mondays so he always tried to make us feel like we 're at home, he even would let you to listen music in his class, although you could only do it with one earplug the other ear was always free so could hear what he was talking about. Correspondingly my History teacher always tried to make his classes less monotonous by doing mini memory games. He always separates the classes on groups and ask multiple questions and the groups that answer the greater amount of questions right would it get 5 points for their next exam.

Another similarity between my earth science teacher and my history teacher is they were both dress extremely nice. Compare to other teachers, my earth science

My earth science teacher is one of those persons who is really good to be around by cause of his personality, he is an extremely tolerant person. He would never be mad, he always has a smile on his face, he is the kind of person who you can trust no matter the matter what, you know he will be always there for you with a huge smile on his face. In addition to this he is the kind of person who know who to cheer you up when you feel down. Just as my earth science teacher, my history teacher has pretty much the same personality. He is also someone who people can trust. In addition to this both my history teacher and my earth science teacher have traits in their personality that indicate that they could be great leaders. They are open personas, decisiveness, conscientiousness and honest persons. These 4 trails on their personality is the best evidence that they have the personality of a

As we look into American history classes we see a common core across the country. Our students learn from the time America was founded to current events today. In our history classes we are taught from textbooks that are prolonged and biased towards the white man. The educational board needs to add other perspectives to history classes and textbooks because this will expand the future generation 's knowledge of others cultures, ethnicities, sex and points of view.…

One particular teacher, I remember her to this day Mrs. Novatny. She was really to the students in her class. In my personal opinion, Mrs. Novatny was a woman that lacked passion to teach and did she enjoy kids being happy. In that particular class no one would dare ask questions. I never seemed to do well in that class. I was set for failure. Mrs. Novatny is a good example of what a teacher should not be like towards her students. Although she was highly educated, her educations did not teach her to be a good quality teacher because she was lacking care and compassion. Having teachers like Mrs. Novatny decreases the chances of the students doing well because there is no motivation offered from the…

Goffman would argue that this behavior is the individuals’ acts of deference. He defines deference as the “component of activity which functions as a symbolic means by which appreciation is regularly conveyed to a recipient of this recipient” (Goffman, 56). The student is expected to give the teacher respect inside and outside of class. In lecture they should be listening and taking notes, and outside class they are supposed to be doing their homework the teacher assigned to them and talk about them respectfully. If they do not follow the expectations in class they may have to serve a detention and if they do not do their homework enough they will get punished as well. The relationship between teacher and student shapes the student to be respectful of people who are above them on the social…

Everybody has many influential experiences in their lives and some of them are more influential than others. Each single event in a person’s life will influence their development as a person whether they know it or not. I know of many influential experiences in my life, but only one of them has decided my future. I never would have thought one of those experiences would have happened on a family trip to Florida.…

Each teacher had a different style and I felt moved by some of their art. There were paintings of the marshes, and students that they had taught. I saw mixed media art with different art forms called “The Book of Life” which really spoke to me as it was very colorful and full of life. I found this really cool, because like most people my age, I think of art as a painting made by an old guy about one hundred years back, but all of these paintings were modern, yet still considered art. I felt relieved to find something I could relate to considered art by an art center.…

I believe that my past experiences have shaped who I am today, making me unique to others. Experiencing different things throughout my life has contributed to influencing many factors that define who I am, which includes my thought processes, mind-set, attitude, aspirations, expectations, social behaviour and personality. For example, everyone would have different thoughts and feelings about a particular word, person or place, because of their own experiences associated with it. This is what separates one person from another.…

Every person who has been through schooling can think of a teacher who made a positive, life changing impact on them who allowed his/her students to think creatively, openly, clearly, and driven. On the flip side of this, we can all think of that one teacher we couldn’t learn a thing from who was dull, uncaring, cut and dry, and impassive. Flash back to a time during your childhood and think of the best/worst teachers you ever had. What qualities did your teachers possess or lack that made them good or bad? Did their methodology of teaching play a role? Try to think deeper into why both teachers made the impact they did on you and the other students. For the purpose of this argument, I am going to refer to the good teacher as “Rose” and the…

“I want you to come back with a diploma in your hands”, were the words of my 8th grade science teacher. The class was very boring and ordinary compared to the other classes in my middle school. My teacher, Mr. Febris, was the one who taught the science class for 5th period, but boy was I always the first one out the door when the bell rang. There were times when I would tap my pencil continuously like Britney Spears did in her “Hit Me Baby One More Time” music video. Students used to love when the teacher would call off for the day and we would get a substitute teacher, then it became a free day to just chat with our friends and play games during class. Melanie, whom was one of my childhood best friends, would make me laugh all the time.…

Now I was fortunate to have a good cooperating school teacher when I did my student teaching. She had also been a student of this same college professor. Apparently this college professor would go to her school and do some special math lessons on occasion. She told me that he came from the ivory tower of academia. He was accustomed to teaching college level classes and was not particularly interested in the facts and practicalities of the real world. It is easy to come in and take over and do a lesson with the students and hold their attention for a few days; however the difficulty is in holding students attention in week 9, 17, 21 or 37. Need I mention that many of the things he came in to teach were not in the curriculum or a standardized test which is what always needs to be focused now because of all the required testing?…
