First attempts are always the hardest when it comes to any endeavor a person may embark. In my case, this endeavor was the essays in my ENC1101 class. Never did I fail an essay, but I also did not do as well as first expected. Due to these high expectations of myself, I worked hard. I studied long hours, read the text books provided, and went to outside resources for assistance. ENC1101 has contributed to my elevated writing and editing skills. This course has influenced my writing and future because I have found my voice when writing an essay and I have improved immensely on my grammar.
