Currently I attend Ben Bronz Academy in West Hartford Connecticut. This school has a rather small community with about thirty students. From a young age school had been a struggle for me, as I am dyslexic. Being dyslexic had always caused me to feel like I was fighting an uphill battle that knew no end. As a fifth grader I entered a new school, a school where students were to call their teachers by their first name, a school with classes called ‘decoding’ and ‘morphographs’, a school that was filled with students like me; dyslexic. For the past five years this learning environment has provided me with a strong academic foundation.
