“Dreaming Big” For my entire life, I have always been a dreamer. I fantasized about everything under the sun. Imagining clouds tasting like cotton candy and pet tigers on aureate leashes. I would also dream “realistically” about starring in High School Musical, becoming an international Pop Star like Beyoncé, or having a private limo. Needless to say, I have a lot of hope and imagination (sometimes a bit too much). I’ve always had it, and that is why my strength is my weakness. I struggle with not having enough drive and motivation to do something. I can dream a lot, and I can always come up with goals. However, if someone told me to go out and pursue them, I would have to say I could not. Struggling with a fear of failure is a big struggle

In ten days, I could accomplish a great deal, but I am going to focus on what is important to me. So in ten days, I could work on my left hand shot for basketball by speeding up my reflexes using drills my basketball coach taught me for basketball season. I could shave ten seconds off my 5K time for cross country. Then, I will be able to make varsity. Branching out with my friend group and possibly make a few -two or three- friends in each class is something else I can try. Also, challenging myself to stay in a positive mindset this week and next week as I continue through my first two weeks of high school is another possibility. I love dreams and making goals, but if I want to make these dreams come true, I can 't get so focused on the little details instead of actually doing the work. I can 't be afraid to fail, and I have to give my all in everything I do -like homework- even if I don 't like it. To stay motivated, I can choose to stay positive and keep uplifting quotes everywhere. These steps can help in everything I do, and from there I can conquer every obstacle that crosses me.
