Haven’t you ever thought to yourself, “What can I do to make a difference in the world?” No well I have, I believe there are many ways a person can impact the world, but the way I am going to impact the world is to become an educator. I dream of becoming an elementary school teacher and sharing my love of learning with my students. It has always been my dream to become a teacher and now I am following that dream at Stetson. This essay caused me to really dig deep into my brain and think, who am I not as a person but as a student. This essay helped me discover what I could work on to become a better student and it also helped me discover that I am not a bad writer like I thought. Even though these classes helped me learn about myself and their subjects in general that is all I learned. There were two classes that helped me learn about myself, how to help others, about the subject and were important to my future goal of becoming a teacher. Those classes were Social Foundations and Diversity in the 21st Century Classroom (FSEM). Social foundations and FSEM helped me connect education and myself. In Social Foundations we learned about the philosophies of education and in doing that the class got to figure out what their own educational

Being a 16-year –old, and having taken my first semester of college classes this semester with my high school classes on top of that, all here at CSN, has been an unforgettable experience. On the other hand, from the three college classes I have enrolled in, including German 111, Communications 101, and Anthropology 101, I have, in my opinion, learned the most with my Anthropology 101 class. This class has been a great and interesting experience that has allowed me to view the world in a different way than most people. To illustrate, even though I thought most of the things we discussed in class like linguistics and archaeology were interesting, I consider learning about ethnology the most memorable and fascinating concept for me. To illustrate,…
