I had learned all there was to learn as a technician in Sugarhill. I believed to be a valuable employee in the pharmacy. However, I was limited in the services I provided. There was much more to learn about pharmacy. I wanted more and to do more. I wanted to be able to help individuals with drug interaction questions and be knowledgeable about the drugs prescribed. I set a goal for that year which was to find the means to go to school and pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. My immigration status was amended in August 2012 and my first semester began in January 2013. Despite the fact that some of my family along with my fellow colleagues believed that I was making a huge mistake. With the support of my husband and those who believed in me I tried my hardest in all my courses.
