My reasoning behind his conquest is all the hate I see present in the world. We live in a world with no sure answers and too many conflicting opinions. My vision was to throw someone who does have all the answer to everything into this chaotic world and have them attempt to sort it out. I reference multiple real life incidents to create the sense of hatred that is present. On page four of my “Ethos” script between panels one and three I reference Charlottesville, Syria, and The Vegas shooting to establish that everything on Earth is not ok. My surrounding environment inspired my hero’s duties as I was able to establish what was wrong with the world around me. We are unaware of where the light is shining from.
1. ETHOS (OFF): It is said that no man should be aware of his own fate.
Panel 2: The same light shines at the center of the page although it has grown more distant and a whole picture of the universe is becoming to come together. We can now see stars, galaxies, and an abundance of different colored lights.
2. ETHOS (OFF): I carry this burden.
Panel 3: With the light at the center of the panel we almost see the whole universe, it looks like its ready to break out of the borders of the panel.
