My Determination Research Paper

Og Mandino once said, “Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.” I strongly agree with this quote as I have had experiences in which this quote proved itself. I once tried out for a football team and nearly didn’t make it, but my determination to succeed was strong enough to earn myself a spot on a new football team.
I have played football since I was five, but I never faced the challenge of trying out for a team. Going into tryouts, I felt intimidated by the older kids trying out, but I didn’t allow that to break my focus on giving my all. They held tryouts as if it were a practice, but there were far too many kids for it to be orderly. Throughout the “practice”, I attempted to stand out from all the
