Being exposed to the many elements of nature, while raised in a country setting has played a huge influence on my future career choice. My strong desire to follow the career path of becoming a veterinarian came to light during my volunteer hours spent at our local SPCA. It was during this time that I developed a strong passion for helping animals in need and providing a voice to those who cannot speak.
Aside from my demanding study schedule, I had been very active performing various activities within my school and community during my high school years. I played for the MVHS Girls Rugby and a member of the school swim team during my four years at MVHS. I was also involved with various school clubs such as the French and Ski club, as well as a member of the Social Committee and Grad Class Committee for numerous years. Apart from school activities, I am a Canadian Blood Services donor, member of the Monarchist League of Canada, and a volunteer for the Royal Canadian Poppy Campaign, Maple Glen Cemetery Organization, and SPCA. I attended evening classes at the Miramichi NBCC during the 2016 winter session to complete a French Level II Certificate and began a
