-600 to 1450 CE: more trading by water, new religions became popular, China made fireworks, Charlegmane ruled, Mongols were in charge
-1450 to 1750 CE: taxes became more common, Mongols lost power, China traded with others, different religions became important, new fashion trends
-1750 to 1900 CE: Renaissance, new art styles, colonies in America, Civil War, mining in America, Indians forced out of homes/territory
-1900 to present: Cold War, WWII, Woodstock, terrorism is more apparent, War in Middle East

When the Sumerians began to write down their information, one of the first things that they documented was their wage lists and tax receipts.
