The difference between having a Creator mindset and having a Victim mindset is the difference between success and failure. In his book, On Course: Strategies for Creating Success in College and in Life, Dr. Skip Downing defines Creators as people who make choices that result in the outcomes they want to achieve. He defines Victims, however, as people who leave their choices to chance, reacting to things that happen in their lives, instead of making things happen, which often has unfavorable results.
