My definition of racism is the feeling of being superior and acting out those feelings towards a certain race (Tatum, 1992). The article that I have chosen to write about is When the Nazis wrote the Nuremberg laws, they looked to racist American statutes. This article explains, that when the Nazis wrote the Nuremberg laws for the Jewish people they labeled it after how America was treating African Americans. They liked how they made it laws for blacks and whites to be separate and have punishable laws for getting married. The reason this is an issue when it comes to the NASW Code of Ethics due to the fact that racism goes against the behavioral factor.
