What is Happiness? Happiness comes in different forms to people, you could ask a person what happiness is to them and some will say it’s their car, girlfriend/ boyfriend, their job, their brand new shoes or even their pet animal. Each individual has a different interpretation of what happiness looks like or what happiness is. My definition of happiness is different than other people because we are all different and we all have different dreams and aspirations that could make us happy. Graduate with my degree in Liberal Studies also known as Elementary Teacher Education and start my life as a teacher. Although lots of people would think or believe that teachers don’t make too much they make a good amount of pay compared to other careers. In an article published by Jeffrey Dorfman, he explains that low teacher pay and high teacher pay are all myths. Careers such as pipefitters, chemical plant system operators and assessors make less than a teacher would make. (Dorfman, pg. 1) Dorfman continues and talks about how teachers are not paid as low as we think they are and that they make a good amount of money. On average an elementary teacher makes around 54,740, once I finish with college and are working for a good amount of time I would like to travel and go to all those places I …show more content…
Other than that about four months ago from today’s date July 21, 2017 my sister’s teacher had yelled at a student and had hurt a kids eye. He was under investigation for a good amount of time and had gotten fired afterwards. My two sibling’s teachers had influenced and inspired me more to become a teacher other than the fact that I love little kids but seeing what those teachers did to my siblings made me want to become an elementary teacher even more. They made me think of all the teachers that aren’t patient enough with kids or can’t handle kids when they are being disturbing or
