My assertion is that I don’t want a lot of conflict over this issue. I think that instead of thinking of which view we should follow, we should compromise*, and think of a strategy that will work for at least the majority of people living near the wetland that is part of the requested land for the golf course.
My reason is because compromising is a common way of solving problems. Most people don’t enjoy conflict, they just want to find the solution.
My evidence is that the definition of conflict on google, is : a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted* one. During a survey of how people deal with conflict done a little while ago, most people said that they tend to avoid it. …show more content…
On the other hand, the open water on the wetlands can create fog which can create fog. The fog can also create icy conditions, making roads hazardous. Also, some evidence points to wetlands as being the cause of some serious accidents. I was thinking that we turn the part of the wetlands next to the road, into the golf course and have the wetlands inside the golf course which would provide beautiful scenery. That way, we can have the wetland and some extra leisure in the golf
