My decision to pursue a career in nursing came from a personal experiences. When I was in the seventh grade, my grandmother was not well as she wasn't well my whole life. I visited and comforted my elderly grandma who had been suffering from Diabetes for a long time. I knew that the disease was incurable but I did all to help my grandma cope with her daily problems. That year my family and I went through a tragic event. That year my grandmother had passed, in her memory I had decided to give of myself to others and to aid those in need. By becoming a nurse, I believe that I can learn and apply the knowledge in which I will obtain to take care of those in need, like how my grandmother was taken care of. I learned a lot from that experience
