My Decision To Become A Doctor

My decision to become a doctor was not based on a single life experience; however, it has been the result of my entire life 's trajectory. From my childhood, I remembered my mother waking up early every morning to go to the bus station and try to get a ride to the hospital where she was doing her medical residency as an Endocrinologist. No matter how sick she felt, every day she got up a leave. It took her many years of sacrificing her family time as well as her night sleeps, but she committed to it and accomplished success. Her commitment and dedication developed on me an immense admiration for medicine as well as a natural instinctive for helping others. I am devoted to being someone who could make a difference in society. Becoming a doctor has been my life long goal, and it will fulfill both my personal and career objectives.

Being born in a different country made me appreciate and understand life in a distinctive perspective. Having to say goodbye to places and people I knew my entire life was tough to overcome, but confronting and adapting to a new country was even more challenging. The patients ' interactions, as well as the working environment, had reinforced my passion and vocation for becoming a doctor. On one occasion I helped Mrs. Brown getting dress since she had no family members that could assist her. The look of thankfulness and appreciation I saw on her face strengthened my decision of becoming a doctor. Sincerely helping those in need has been a priceless experience for me. I believe that even at my young age, I have been able to overcome many obstacles and accomplished success.
