Sentou Kaishi

Sentou Kaishi means to start the battle. It is a war cry used by the Japanese.

Sentou Kaishi is all about taking action every day.

Katanakaji comes first. It is all about finding out who you are and what you want. But once you have forged your sword (it usually takes six months to two years), then you focus on just taking action. No more analyzing (too much analysis will hurt you), just focus on taking action.

I love this system. It is completely custom and, more importantly, simple.

But two other things to note (not cons for me but it might be for you): these aren 't blocked out by time and, obviously, there is no notification system.

If this is a problem, you could use [Google Calendar] instead. If you enable the Tasks Calendar, you get a layout very similar to what I 'm using on Google Sheet (and Google Calendar loads a lot faster too). Check out the image below.

Maybe I 'll switch over one day.

One last word of advice. Keep this list where it is easy to see and make it a habit of opening it in the morning.

I keep mine in my bookmarks bar.

This way I have a visual cue (trigger) every time I use the internet.

Finally, sometimes the best and fastest way to do things is just a piece of paper and a pen that you keep on your desk.

Because the important thing isn 't to waste your time finding the perfect system, but to take action!

Through the last thirty years of men’s international soccer there have been many teams to rise on the back of a single star. This player usually has the ability to make all of the players around him play better than ever before. A player in this position is generally thrust into the spotlight at an early age, usually mid to late teens, and if they are not the best at focusing, they are not given the time to develop their skills as they keep progressing through the ranks. I believe that this puts an extreme amount of pressure on a young athlete and can cause them to become uninspired in their pursuit of becoming the best in the sport they love. I think that too much pressure does not create an environment that will allow a young star to develop into anything other than a flop.…

When it’s time for my break from classes, my friends and I always discuss what we are going to eat for lunch, most of my friends wants to go to Genki sushi, which is expensive and not within my budget. To be able to survive and have money to last us till our next paychecks, most college students such as myself have to take price of food into consideration. Another color that Otsuka uses throughout her book is black, which is commonly used in Japanese culture to symbolize mystery, desolation, and in some cases, destruction. She often mentions the color black to describe the barracks in the internment camps, symbolizing that these camps are unwanted and therefore are isolated away from American society. The trip to the internment camps was humiliating, long, and exhausting for the Japanese. During the first night of internment, the boy looks outside of the window and observes “the endless rows of black barracks all lined up in the sand. In the distance, [there was] a wide empty field where nothing but sagebrush grew, [and] then the fence and the high wooden towers” (51).…
