My Cultural Identity My culture tends to be diverse more than meets the eye, you’ll see I am very Americanized but yet still contain my Laotian Heritage. Throughout the the year I tend to change. I still am becoming, well more like deciding what makes me, me. All these different materials and everyday things we do in life is a part of who I am and what i choose to be. Taking under consideration that I am still at the age of 15, and having the ability to unconditionally not being able to make my mind up. Imagine being in a crowded group at a party that your friends are throwing, and you randomly spotted me from across the room. Right away you can tell I wear a lot of makeup. In 6th grade my sister bought me a random tube of mascara just so I can have a little taste of what it’s like to have makeup on, without having it caked on my face. I didn’t know what it was but that little tube of mascara felt like like a piece of me that I'd been missing. Right then and there, I instantly fell in love. Yeah I know what you’re thinking, what a basic item to write about, but it honestly is. My phone contains all my information, my social medias, my contacts and all of the many pictures I have taken throughout the years. For me to have all my information on my phone it is a necessity that I must carry with me no matter what. On the other hand my phone automatically has my family and friends phone number saved. It’s how people can reach me and how I hold a steady conversation with whomever. Last but not least my phone contains all my photos. Considering i have a phone on me 24/7 I am tempted to capture every moment of my life. Having the pictures automatically saved in my phone makes me feel excited to know i could always look back at them and share them with
