Cultural reflective
My culture is Hispanic/American and when i’m home i listen to Mexican music the most. When I’m at home i talk more Spanish then i talk at school. At my house i eat my more Hispanic food then American food.
When there time for celebration me and my family don’t celebration everything. My mom is from mexican and my dad is from Salvador . We celebration different things. For an example for a dia de los muertos is very important for my family because to remember the people we love. When i was a little girl i remember that all ways watch wrestling when i would come from school . That was big thing for my mom and dad because that part of there cultural. For my dad it’s important for him that i know about his cultural even though he think’s i don’t real care about it. But i real do care and i want to know about his cultural. For cultural i feel sometime that people treat me different . How my parent’s teach me. That people just think different about my cultural because they see it in a different way that my mom and my think about it but people think about in another way. I’m round different cultural when i was little and i see that people think different because everyone cultural or there beliefs are different. Everyone has believes in different and learn thing from those people. The type of music they played for me was real different. The type of music my parent would play but what i remember when i was little my mom and my dad want play any music until i was 10 years old. I would watch novellas with my mom every night me and her would stop whatever we were doing go watch it . I would sit in front of the TV and my mom would get mad at for sitting in front of the TV she said i would go blind or death i would just laugh. My first language i learned was Spanish it was real hard for me . I was going to school they were teaching me to write English and at home my parents were teaching me to speak Spanish and to write That was so hard to for to learn to language's at the same time. I can’t real speak to my mom and dad because i can’t real speak Spanish real good so i would always speak to my mom and dad in English. They would get mad at me for if speak at them in English because they didn’t real understand me if i was speaking English. I’m still trying to learn still to speak it and to write it. People would make fun of me by the way i speak it because i sound funny. I don’t real speak it real well. I’m still trying to learn so i can help people that speak it if they need help i'm still learning. Holiday are the best i would love them because my mom makes the best of food that wait for ever year. We don’t celebrate every holiday. We don’t real celebrate Halloween or 4th of July. My
