Food, dances, beliefs, activities, social norms, holidays, and ethnicity. These are all a part of an invisible bond shared by many people in a culture. You may not even realize what yours is, because of how you are molded to the cultural norms of your society. She tells me some of these but I believe that it isn't as important to me as it was to her because a lot of the scenes are things that take place in Korea. I also am more familiar with American myths because I have heard those myths many times from different American people, rather than only hearing it from my mom.

In conclusion, culture is a bond that everyone has- however, each are different in each individual. One big part of my culture is the diversity of food that I eat since my parents are from completely different places. My culture also consists of high expectations of accomplishments and my academic goals. However, even though I have lived with my mom my entire life; her culture is completely different than mine. Everyone’s culture is different; but don't ever let that be something that stops you from wanting to learn more about another culture simply because their social norms or beliefs are

But at the same time, culture is very subjective because if you think about it, in American it's common knowledge that you say please, thank you or any other type of pleasantries in certain situations. Not to mention, what we call common courtesy, for example, holding the door open for the people behind you is a way of sharing culture because some people may not know that. Culture can be broken down into a number of things but I think at its simplest form that it is just a matter of sharing mannerisms on a large scale, wider than just a friend group or a family.
