My Cultural Journey Between Syria

I believe I can relate to others’ struggles and concerns irrespective to their culture and background. My unique journey between Syria and the United States has allowed me to view the world through different cultural lenses and equipped me with a better understanding of life and the human nature. I learned that humans are shaped by various factors that transcend their surroundings and pierce into the history, culture, language, art, and background of every individual.

As a teacher assistant for Human Physiology and a leader of various club organizations, I have cultivated my leadership skills and enhanced my emotional intelligence. I developed the ability to assess the emotional state of people talking with me, based on body language and voice
