When you start a project or creating a product you need to have a process that you will follow. Everything has a different process because there are different outcomes that different people want. My product that I wanted to create was baby blankets to donate somewhere. In order to do this I had to think of where I needed to start and where I needed. To begin I needed to come up with an idea. Once my idea was thought out I needed to check with my advisor to see if my idea would work. The skills that I already had were planning, I have always liked to plan because it laid out a schedule that was easy to follow. While doing the project I had to develop some skills as well, one of which being problem solving, I am now able to read about a situation and come up with a solution that I think is the best. By using the skills that I already had and the ones that developed along the way I was able to help those around me. I could do this by helping them to plan while teaching others how to plan they were able to help me to better my problem solving skills for this project and for others in the future. Weak critical thinkers lack the ability to look at things from different points of view being true or not true. Strong critical thinkers have the ability to see things, and question every angle of their way of thinking, and come up with a theory or realistic view or stand point on that topic or discussion. Critical thinking in general has never been one of one of my strong suits, but I believe that out of the 7 characteristics provided by Ruggiero the one that represents my greatest strength is that I tend to think before acting. I was taught early on that thinking before doing will, one help in success and two lead you on a better path in life.
