English 111 Portfolio Analysis

This is my cover letter for my portfolio. In this portfolio, I have a handful of papers that I have written throughout this year. These papers include a narrative that details a important event in my life, a literary analysis about the theme of revenge in Shakespeare 's Hamlet, a multi genre about the arguing the reasons toward establishing nuclear power in America, and a essay I wrote for collage admittance about my lifetime goals. This paper was written in English 112. I believe that this paper is the best I have written all year. I believe this because of the thought I have put into this paper. I have never been a huge fan of Shakespeare, however when I read this book, I believe that I was able to come to my own conclusion as to why Shakespeare wrote this play. I believe that this paper is my best this year because of the understanding I had of the play. this paper was written much later in the year. Because of this, I believe that I have been able to write at a better level than I did at the beginning. If I had read Hamlet at the start of the year I do not believe I would have had the appreciation of the play that I have now. this paper was on the argument of whether or not we should embrace nuclear power in America. The side that I have chosen in this paper is that we should embrace nuclear power. I believe that this is one of the best papers I have written. I think that it ranks above my narrative, however I do not believe that it is as good as my literary analysis paper. I believe that this is one of my best papers because I have a interest in this paper, and because of this I have done a good amount of research on this topic. because of my interest in this topic, I have put a good amount of time into creating genres for my paper. My goal for this paper was to argue the point that we should embrace nuclear power of the archaic coal fueled power we have now. In this paper, I believe the multitude of genres that I made for this paper gave my readers an understanding of the topic so that they could choose a side.
