My Core Values

Core Values
I have many core values, but 3 of them really mean the most when it comes to my life. My biggest core value is finishing high school and going to college. Another core value is my family and friends who support me through everything I do. My last core value is making sure I am happy and living my life to the fullest. My core values affect my decisions for what school I will be attending for college and so the classes I take now, or managing my time. When it comes to my core values, it’s how I live my day-to-day life. I often question my core values and if there really values that I live by, and they are. These are things I look back on to make sure I am doing what I’m supposed to in school and outside of school. They often change,

I will be the first out of my immediate family to state college right away. My sister took “one year off” and never went back to further her education. I know if I go to college I will have successes in my life and that it will really ensure my happiness in the future. My parents really help shape this core value because they are always telling me to sign up for scholarships and also go on college campus visits. They really support me in all I do. They helped me get back on track because I was skipping school and doing things that I really shouldn’t have been doing. One night I was thinking about my life and how I was trying to make myself happy and it wasn’t working. I needed to get back on track and start doing what I was supposed to be doing like staying in class and actually going to school. My friends weren’t really my friends and I had to realize that. I live by these values because they kept me out of trouble and I am now happy where I am at in my life. I don’t question myself about going to school or doing the things I need to be
