The verse that I chose for my confirmation is 1 Timothy 4:12, “ Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” Allow me to provide some background before I get into the meaning. About a year ago a friend of mine invited me to a youth night every wednesday at the freedom center, I have long since forgotten the sermon from that wednesday night but the verse the youth pastor pointed out to us has always stuck with me.
