Computer System Analyst as a Career

“I love being the person that everyone goes to when they have a problem with their computer, knowing that I can fix it.” Bettina Bair. Bettina Bair is an average system analyst that enjoys her job. She even wrote an article called “Words from the Wise”. She talked about her everyday life working as a computer system analyst, about how she enjoys helping other with their computer problem and how she sometimes dislikes have to sit and write a new program for long hours at a time. Also, when I was young I was always trying to understand how technology works, I would usually get a headache thinking about it, but then I joined the CEMS program at Blaine High School. Joining the CEMS program only helped to spark my curiosity. So I did some research found out it was also a fast growing career that would always give me a nice life after college. Over the years in my high school life and some of middle school almost all my extra electives had to do with a computer, I took classes such as computer science, video game design, web design, and etc… I’ve enjoyed and sometimes struggled in many of these class, but these struggles only got me more interested. I’ve been doing more research on it since my freshmen year at the college fair. Business’ are always growing and so do their computer systems, this causes computer system analyst to become high in demand job. They pay is not bad either. According to How to Become a Computer Systems Analyst. (2015, December 17) in May of 2015, the median annual wage was $85,800, but with more experience and better education you can get paid more $135,450. With a high there is a low the starting salary for most is about $57,910, even with an average starting salary it is still a nice amount to live off
