Joining student government added structure to my life, but more so, it instilled motivation in me. The organization gave me a sense of purpose and provided self-realization. It afforded me with the opportunity to experience the humbling fulfillment I receive when serving others.
In a highly competitive society it is often overlooked what makes the human experience magnificent is our ability to grow, develop, and learn. People are often simply viewed as what they presently are, but not as what they can be. The potential an individual has is often disregarded, but when it is found and embraced, a wonderful thing can emerge. Reflecting on my experiences, and looking to the future, my growth has not ended. I look forward to the challenges ahead, as I continually realize my full potential for success.
Student government offered me the opportunity to seize my passion, become a leader, and make a difference. It has allowed me to no longer fear the mistakes I may make or the challenges which may lie ahead of me. Instead, they are simply learning opportunities to further prepare me for a career in public service. Law school will allow me to further refine my skills, and my future career as an attorney will enable me to utilize that passion. Whether I find myself protecting the wrongly accused, or ensuring justice for those who have wronged, I will continue to advocate for and offer assistance to those which are in
