I pervious attended the University of Phoenix and many of their requirements are the same as Bethel University. While I was with Phoenix I was required to respond to two discussion questions, eight responses to fellow students, an individual assignment, and one team assignment. With that being said I would like to think that I have the discipline to complete the assignment work for each course. I also was required to use the APA formatting for all assignments done both individually and with the team members. The APA formatting is defiantly not my favorite as I am still learning everyday new tricks on how to write a better essay. Another area I feel that will help me succeed is the ability to want to keep on learning. I have had a few friends who have went through online courses and ended up not having the want to learn but only the want to graduate. I know many people that can listen to music or have the television on while working on course work but that I can 't do. Does that make sense? Of course not. I can listen to my children playing in the background and still complete my work but if it is other noise I simply can 't do it. I think it is because I am use to it were as a television or music is something different every so many minutes. I have wondered if I have truly retained the information that I have learned and now that I am in the law enforcement field I have proven to myself that I do remember what I have read and tested on. I have actually used the information more that once since my beginning of my career journey in January. The one area that I know that I need to improve in is giving my course work a break. If I am working on an area that doesn 't come clear to me I will read, research, and question everything until I come to a conclusion when sometimes I need to walk away and give myself a break. Even if it is only for a minute I truly feel this would help rather than
