My Christian Experience

1.I was confirmed in the year 2013 under the mentorship of Russ Roquet.

2.As a Member of Sun Prairie United Methodist Church, I attend worship regularly while home from college. Over the summer months, I voluntarily work the C.A.V.E., as well as usher. I plan on doing the same this coming summer.

3.While the literal definition of a Christian means to follow the teachings of Jesus, I believe there's more to it than just that. I believe being a Christian is achieved by completing day to day tasks as Jesus would. It is one thing to hear his scriptures but it is another thing to act in the same way he would. As I live my life, rather than just following the Christian faith in certain instances, I attempt to live my entire life following the Christian faith by being kind to others, helping while receiving nothing in return, and respecting everyone and thing. If I were to pinpoint one specific instance where I lived out the Christian faith, I would use the example of when I created a set of stairs for Generations Park, in the Town of Sun

While on campus, I enjoy participating on the swim team and the students for sustainability club. In High School I participated in swim team, cross country, National Honor Society, and FFA. I am also enjoy activities such as participating in triathlons, researching physics in my freetime, mountain biking, hanging out with family and friends, and participating in community service. Through activities which I have participated in and through school I have earned multiple awards including achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts, receiving three academic excellence awards for grades above 3.5, and graduating high school with high honors. I also have a number of work experiences. I have worked at Prairie Athletic Club for the past three years as a lifeguard and I have volunteered numerous times at the Sunshine Place in Sun
