My chosen career is health care management. In this assignment I’m going to be writing about the job overlook, certification requirements, how my personality trait skills relate to my chosen career and where will I see myself in 5 years while pursuing this career of being a health care manager. This is an outlining of my career and my future goals.

Health care managers coordinate medical and health services in hospitals, clinics, public health agencies, homes and many more. Being a health care manager you are supervising employees, making payroll, assisting board meetings, planning budgets and coordinating the facility making sure everything is being done properly. By taking my personality traits test I figured that I was really good on social, enterprising and conventional skills. My weaknesses where realistic, investigative and artistic skills. My career requirements have a lot to do with leading, management, customer service and communication. Being able to be have social skills will allow me to work with others and help them learn and grown with each other rather than working with objects or machines. My employees will be able to have a professional bond with me as a manager. Enterprising will allow me to lead my employees on making the correct decision when I am not in the office and it will also allow me to persuade upper management on giving new ideas to make the facility a better work environment for my employees and patients. I am currently employed in a hospital and I see growth by taking this bachelor degree. My goal is to success and bloom in the healthcare field as well as in the hospital I am working for. In 5 years I see myself having enough knowledge on how to run a facility. The ins and outs of the financial requirements as well as the law and ethics in the medical field. I also see myself furthering education. One day I would love to manage a floor in the hospital and be able to help others. I would like to open an organization in the hospital for female employees and patients to encourage them to start school. I will build that organization and be a living proof example of having a family, working long hours at a hospital and being able to further my career.
