Traditionally, my father lived with his family in the country side like his parents and grandparents have done. In addition, my father’s family owned a self-sufficient farm, they did all the work themselves. My father had a lot of space to run and play with his friends, but it was kind of difficulty for him to go buy new clothes whenever he wanted to. He had very few neighbors near his family’s farm. In contrast, my childhood environment lacked all the freedom of playing outside with a lot of space to run freely. I lived in a famous city which is also very crowded, I lived in New York City. I had the freedom to go shopping every day because I was lived near a mall. The only restriction I had was the overcrowded neighborhood I lived in. The
sidewalks were always crowded, the streets were always filled with slow moving traffic. Me and my father lived in two different worlds, everything we lived through was nothing alike.
In conclusion, people who tried to compare me to my father had to study our childhoods. My childhood was amazingly great, although, my father’s childhood seemed old school and boring to millennials, I would have loved to live in farm. But I guess my father moved to America to give us a childhood he longed for. My father lived an innocent childhood unlike mine were everything is in the palm of your hand.
