A Career As A Nursing Assistant Personal Statement

After graduation, I am looking for a job in an Emergency Department. I am looking to initiate my career through emergency care which will eventually provide me enough training and experience in order for me to go into other Nursing fields like such as Dialysis nursing. I am looking forward to work in Florida and specifically in Broward County. One of the five criteria set forth by Board of Nursing are following; first, the candidate must be graduate from state approved or accredited nursing education program leading to an associate degree or diploma in nursing or bachelors in nursing science (BSN) (National Council of State board of Nursing, n.d.). I believe I will have to work on my time management skills in order to increase my performance throughout my career and also in personal life. Continue education is also a very important milestones to achieve along my career. By completing and maintain these certifications will eventually benefit me in a long run and increase my ability to get a promotion or a better job. My plan is to complete these certification with in a first five years of my job, taking only one course at a time every six months while working and supporting my family. By taking one course at a time will give me enough time to catch up with my other responsibilities. Time management also will be the key factor that I will be utilizing while keeping a balance between education, work and family in the first five year of my career. I believe the first challenge I will face will be the role transition from nursing student to a registered nurse. It will be exciting, but in the same time very important step in the initiation of my career. I believe this step is one of the most crucial step because it will shape my nursing practice and myself as a nurse. I want to make sure that I get best trainers, mentors and preceptors who are going to show me or train me in a way which will lead me to the path of
