Why I Want To Pursue A Business Degree

For a long time, I thought I had my life planned out. I thought I knew where I wanted to go to school and live, I even thought I knew who I wanted to marry. I wanted to be a lawyer in the military and work my way up through the ranks to the office of Secretary of Defense, and that was it: no personal life or anything else. Once I got out of my parents’ house and started to live I realized all the things I thought I want or thought I was interested in; all those things were just things I was told to like or do. I tried to stay close to what my family wanted me to do, while trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life. My next plan was maybe I could just be a lawyer and figure everything else out after law school, but just three years in to a degree and I hated it so much I dropped out for a year to find my peace of mind.
