Public Health Worker Career Analysis

I have always wondered what exactly it was that I wanted to do career wise and what impact could I and/ or would I have on individuals, groups, communities/ or on systematic levels once I had found the answer to that question. Well, it is safe to say that I have found my purpose in the world and have been paving my career path as a public health worker. I think that at this point in my career, I am capable of positively impacting social change more so on an educational level, by assessing what it is that people already know about health related issues and raising awareness about those issues people are not knowledgeable about. I say this because not only will I possess the skill sets needed to effectively communicate on all levels with other scholars, but I would be eligible for executive/corporate positions within the various organizations that influence/develop/ shape social change. Such as the position of Public Health Advisor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This position would allow me to act as the principal advisor and director who oversees multi-functional program activities related to infectious diseases oversees. It will also, allow me to manage multiple projects and programs; analyze collected data and findings and interpret complex legislative, regulatory, and/or policy guidance for use in managing overseas public health programs; and it allow for development and implementation of strategies and plans for meeting overseas objectives. I want to grow as a scholar-practitioner who would not only be a consumer of wisdom, but a servant to individuals, communities, organizations, and society. As well as an innovator of new health intervention programs, research projects, and supplemental housing programs for low-income families. Contributing to social change and community service are both at the forefront of my career and at the top of my goal
