Recently, I discovered that I am an energetic and charismatic person. Consequently, this means that the presence of others inspires me to provide aid to anyone in need of it. These qualities led me to realize that I would best suit a career in which I am able to be active but serviceable; such as a physical therapist. A job in physical therapy consists of following different methods to support and strengthen people who are weak, disabled or injured. A physical therapist is expected to help patients with the use of exercises and other activities that require spry movements. Likewise, one can engage in this career in places such as rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and other optimistic environments. I feel like this job would allow me to interact with people while giving them assistance which is why this is my primary career goal. In order to satisfy my ambitions, I hope to maintain my GPA average of 3.6 throughout the remainder of my years at the Academy of Health Sciences. This would increase my chances of receiving a scholarship to a respectable university. I would like to get admitted …show more content…
(Clarkin, et al., 2015). This article describes techniques taken from treatments taught in medical schools but also techniques they experimented with. The researchers stated, “Lacking a comprehensive theory of personality pathology, we suggest that the therapist focus on the domains of dysfunction and how they manifest in the client’s particular environment.” (Clarkin, et al., 2015, p.5). This is an example of a type of technique I can use when helping a patient with personality debilities. In the conclusion, of the article, the researchers explain that patients will often only cooperate if they feel relief from their discomfort. I will keep this in mind and will resemble a sanguine attitude when treating patients. (Clarkin, et al., 2015,

The main reason why I think that HACC is the best choice for me is because of the cost. The rates per credit are around $250 and that is for in-state residents. The total cost for a commuter would be around $13,750 for a student who is full time, which means they are taking 12 credits per term (Stager). This price of $13,750 includes the price of books, supplies, food, and transportation and it is an average price for all HACC students (HACC.edu). I think that I could easily cut some of the cost by trying to buy my books online for a cheaper price or even eating at home to save a lot of money.…

Keeping my three personal and professional goals realistic, I would have to say a personal goal is to finish school at SNHU with a 3.0 GPA or above. I think a way for me to accomplish this goal is to stay focused on the tasks at hand, maintain a good relationship with my advisors and to utilize some of the tutoring options that are available to me as a student. Another personal goal is to work on myself, mentally. I cannot be a good mom or wife when I have the stress, anxiety and depression that I do. A way to help accomplish this goal is to not only start speaking with a psychiatrist (first appointment is August 4th) but to also have my thyroid checked.…

Although, when I questioned my mother why these fruits spoil, she responded it was due to "little bugs," which was not a sufficient response.…
