Healthcare Personal Statement Essay

Healthcare overall has been one of my passions for as long as I can remember. I started out as a teenager in high school taking care of my grandmother on my father 's side. Soon after I had taken on many other clients, juggling long hours day to day, all the while trying to keep up my grades in school. A couple of years went by and I began to do PCW work for my mother 's parents. At that time I knew that I wanted to stay in the healthcare field for my profession, and I finally decided to further my education here at Kaplan University. While currently attending KU I am pursuing to achieve my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration degree. It pertains to leadership and management, which I believe are the qualities that I acquire. My degree requires 52 total credits and will take up to 18 months or less to fulfill in addition to passing a licensing examination, and complete a state-approved training program. Certain healthcare positions in my field may require additional education, such as a Master 's degree- which I am seriously leaning towards. The bachelors degree program will also qualify me for The Licensed Nursing Home Exam. This will allow so many more …show more content…
My main goal is to work in a managerial position in a clinical or hospital setting. I have I enjoy to work one on one with patients and clients to provide the best care possible; they deserve nothing but the best. To work in healthcare, you must be very passionate about others and their needs. It can be very time consuming, but I am very patient and am willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I will make it my mission to achieve my goals in the field of healthcare administration, and make my mark in this world. Not only for myself, but for others who have chosen this lovely profession. I want to be able to use my knowledge and ambition to inspire others to do the same as
