Not only is community service a way of life to me, but a life without helping those less fortunate is not the life I want to be living. I have always strived to be an actively committed member of my community through service activities. For example, I spend three hours a day teaching youth in my community. Teaching is an unparalleled, inspiring experience. My students are kindergarteners, and their curiosity and enthusiasm constantly inspired me. When teaching, I seek not only to teach them, but to encourage curiosity. Educating has taught me to communicate, to explain, and to not only understand the differences in learning styles, but to celebrate these differences. It can be difficult work, but it is unmeasurably
