The main subjects that this career is based around happen to be my greatest subjects. I have always favored and did more than needed when it came down to Math and Science. Problem solving comes as second nature to me and this career matches that skill perfectly. I am also a firm believer that I have the people skills needed to strive in this field. You must attain a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering as an educational requirement. The engineering program needs to be accredited by ABET. Proof of a passing score on Fundamentals of Engineering exam as well as Professional Engineering exam are highly encouraged.
