Career Coach Reflection

Career Coach Reflection I took the Career Coach assessment and I was surprised by the results. I think that the assessment would be of good use if you ae in college and still not sure what you want to do. This is my thoughts and opinion career coach and my results. My top personality-based matches from the assessment results are investigative, artistic, and social. According to career coach, I am investigative because I am very inquisitive and curious. I can somewhat agree with this because I do tend to want to work alone when offered to work in groups. I am also well-disciplined, precise, and systematic. I am currently a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and during my clinical hours I loved working with my patients and getting to know them better. I also volunteered one summer in my local hospital. I mostly got to stand back and watch but I was just itching to be able to jump in and help. The quote, “if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life,” is true when it applies to nursing for me. I love nursing and helping others in any way possible. I also think this is the best career option for me because the world is always going to need a nurse. The next steps to validate and pursue this career choice for me in Health Science would be to attend a college or university to get the appropriate education I will need and graduate. I have already taken the steps I need by attending Southwestern Community College while being dual enrolled at Western Carolina University in the RIBN(Regionally Increasing Baccalaureate of Nurses) program. I will also need to keep in touch with the coordinator of my program of study to make sure that I am enrolling in all the classes I will need in order to graduate and be able to work in the career of Health
