I am currently a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and during my clinical hours I loved working with my patients and getting to know them better. I also volunteered one summer in my local hospital. I mostly got to stand back and watch but I was just itching to be able to jump in and help. The quote, “if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life,” is true when it applies to nursing for me. I love nursing and helping others in any way possible. I also think this is the best career option for me because the world is always going to need a nurse. The next steps to validate and pursue this career choice for me in Health Science would be to attend a college or university to get the appropriate education I will need and graduate. I have already taken the steps I need by attending Southwestern Community College while being dual enrolled at Western Carolina University in the RIBN(Regionally Increasing Baccalaureate of Nurses) program. I will also need to keep in touch with the coordinator of my program of study to make sure that I am enrolling in all the classes I will need in order to graduate and be able to work in the career of Health
