Children spend a significant amount of time with their teachers during term time; therefore, a teacher plays a crucial role in a child’s educational progress and can inspire them to progress both educationally and socially. Teaching children gives me an endless satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. I realised this, when my son started his school 20 years ago. Every parent wants their children to achieve their potential and this motivated me to start my career as a teacher. I have a lot of practical experience of working with children between the ages of 5-11 years and I have worked with children from different ethnic minorities. In addition, I have successfully completed Master of Education in Special Educational Needs from University of Exeter, UK with Merit. I also gained a diploma in computing and certifications in computer programming that empowered me with the competence in computing. I created appropriate resources suitable to the pupils needs in improving their academic attainment. Education often inspired me to believe that skilled craftsman will always create the best sculptures. During my career as a teacher and my work as a teaching assistant, I was able to progress pupil performance (slow learners) from a level 3 and 4 in a span of 8 months. I believe every child is born with strength and if rightly facilitated they will achieve high standards. Undoubtedly, multi-sensory techniques of my pedagogy worked wonders. This revealed when my group of low ability and New to English pupils were able to retain the information (literacy and numeracy) and articulate it accurately. Furthermore, I have strong experience in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to whole class and in small groups throughout the relevant age.
