My career is to be a police officer, a policeman or policewomen who patrol an area,(Define Police Officer from Google 1) I wish to pursue this career to feel like a hero , to communicate with various people, and to learn about the surroundings. I have been interested in this occupation since I was 6 years old. I get to protect people and help citizens in my country, state, or county, and I get to build, fix, and repair weapons, is what grabbed my attention or interest of this career. The challenges I will face are I am not stern so I am going to the military to make myself more stern. I want this job because I always like to feel protective over others that are in danger or need help. I just like protecting others.

One could go to SLU, SWIC, or MSSU for classes or training after high school. When a police officer is a Rookie he or she may expect their salary is not much at all (pretty low) per month. Employees are paid by the amount of people they arrest, but some have hourly or schedule do until they have low crime rates. Work is available, but weekdays are usually the slowest between 5:00am to 8:00pm because of these situations. Weekends are the busiest since people are out and being stupid, crazy, immature, and party animals. Weather is one of the changes based on uncontrollable factors and will most likely be one of the busiest days since police get paid like a car dealer where the more he or she sells the better their paycheck except a cop gets paid by bringing other people in.
A benefit of a police officer can get is a retirement plan, insurance, and a anytime, visit to a pharmacist, health, or physical faculty (“Mees, Police Presentation” 1-10). The retirement plan is the best since it gives you your paycheck after you retire, one may retire from being an officer in 30 years after the officer was in office.
