Personal Statement: A Career In Computer Engineering

I have grown up in a family of highly educated members. My dad is a mechanical engineer, my uncle has Masters in Physics, but he is currently working as a banker now, and he handles 4-5 branches under him. My brother has computer engineering degree, and he is recently doing his masters in Computer Science. Finally, I have always wanted to make my career in a science or engineering field. My dad owned Submersible Pump factory in India, and instead of going to play outside with my friend, I loved being with my dad in his factory to see how things worked. Obviously at that time I didn’t understand how things worked relative to science, but one thing I understood that when I grow up, I will make my career in innovating things. I also want to make a club called ‘TechTitnz’. This club will consist of people from different technological field, and I am planning to have our university’s first Robotics championship. This championship will have ‘RoboWarz’, where representatives from different universities will come and compete to win the trophy. I am planning to do this because my chance of getting co-op will be higher in first year, and the most important I will try to make University of Windsor the next WATERLOO of Canada, where will from all over Canada will strive to get in Windsor. After studying bachelor of engineering at Windsor, I will apply to Universities that are highly renewed on the world for masters and PhD, such as MIT, ETH ZÜRICH, or Caltech. I am planning this by working at a good company for approximately 10 years after master or PhD. I will work for 10 years, because from this I will work on site experience and I will also make contacts which will help me in opening my own company. The reason I want to make military equipment company, is because I love making cars with advance technology, I love making custom guns, and the most important I will be helping soldiers who work hard to defend our country. I want to make cars that have AI (artificial intelligence) system implemented, that means cars can operate in any condition harsh without any aid from soldier. I also want to make advance armour like ‘Iron man’ to help soldiers battle without getting hurt. In the end I want to military equipment company to help make our society
